Awarded Blue Flag status for 2021
Aragia beach is a pebble/shingle beach at the north end of the village of Poros. The depth of the water increases quickly after only a couple of metres, but the deeper water is refreshing and cool in summer, it is also good for snorkelling. There are some cafes and tavernas dotted along the beach-side road so you don’t have to venture far for refreshments or food.
You are quite likely to see some locals windsurfing, especially if it’s a bit breezy, but there is nowhere nearby to hire water sports equipment from.
