St Thomas beach, also known as Agios Thomas, is on the south coast of Kefalonia approximately 2.3km from the church in the nearest village Karavados. It is accessed via a single track road and there is also quite limited parking, so it may be worth leaving your car further up the hill and walking down. The beach itself is quite small and it can get busy so it may be advisable to arrive early. The water is clear so a good spot for snorkelling and if you’re careful, there’s some great rocks to have fun jumping into the sea from.
Refreshments and snacks can be purchased from the café bars, or there’s a taverna for a more wholesome meal.
