Zavalata beach is a stony little beach tucked away near to the historic Roman cemetery in Fiskardo.
There is no parking (apart from in the village), sunbeds, water sports or facilities on the beach, but there is a bar nearby to get refreshments.
What this beach lacks in facilities more than makes up for in small village charm and tranquillity. Also there is an unparalleled view across to the neighbouring island of Ithaka. If you are staying in the area, or just visiting for the afternoon, do pay this beach a visit, just don’t forget to bring your beach shoes.
