Grizata stone bridge trail

Grizata stone bridge trail is located here

The Stone Bridge of Grizata (also known as the Old Venetian Bridge) is a historic arched structure located in the peaceful countryside near the village of Grizata, just a short drive from Sami.

Built from local stone, this graceful arched bridge was once a vital crossing for villagers and today serves as a picturesque “hidden gem” for hikers and history enthusiasts.

However, it is still a beautiful walk in the countryside, the 7 Water Mills Trail follows a narrow riverbed lined with lush, green vegetation and the ruins of old watermills that operated until the devastating earthquake in 1953.

Good shoes and steady feet for this route, take plenty of water and set off early if it’s a hot summers day.
