The beach at Lourdas has an excellent selection of café bars and tavernas all along its 1km flat promenade.
There are plenty of sunbeds for hire and most of the cafes offer a beach service so you can find the perfect spot and spend the day sunning yourself without having to venture to far for refreshments and food.
Lourdas beach is at the bottom of a steep hill but this does not deter thousands of people staying up in the village from venturing down for a day at the beach; you can walk down, if you are fit enough – or catch the regular local bus.
