Assos beach is a compact pebbly stretch of coastline right at the heart of the picturesque village of Assos. The beach faces west towards the outcrop that is home to the Venetian era castle ruins.
The sheltered bay means that the water is calm and ideal for snorkelling.
All of the village tavernas and bars are within easy reach and sunbeds are available for hire.
Parking for the beach and the village can be tricky during the peak summer months, so why not arrive in the area early and make a proper day of it.
