High above the streets of modern day Sami and about 1.5km from the Agioi Fanentes Monastery sits the Acropolis of ancient Sami.
As well as being of historical significance, it is also a great spot to get some excellent views of Sami.
Be prepared for a walk over uneven terrain to get the best views, but it’ll be well worth it.
